horsefeathers 15 #1 Posted April 13, 2011 At age 51 I don't feel like an old guy! But I gotta' tell ya' the years are slippin' by! Look around you now... everything you see will be gone someday! It's time to start thinkin' about your "Bucket List"!!! So... What's on your bucket list? Early RJ, A Seinor, Lever steer, 420sle, or a blinged out 520??? Smokin' hot 19 year old, or a 40year old cougar? I have a nice shop you can build what you want, I have the stuff! But for me I never had a Hemi car, and I love Mopar! Bucket List oh yeah Hemi is in there! What is on your "Bucket List"??? HORSEFEATHERS!
JimD 3,345 #2 Posted April 13, 2011 A new bucket. And if I came to your shop and built myself a 19 year old, it wouldn't be long till I was in that coffin in the corner.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,059 #5 Posted April 13, 2011 Family to be healthy and happy is first (which is not the current case) but if I were to want material things I would have to say.. 1. Build my custom barn out back 2. New HD Chevy 4x4 3. Have my grandparent's 68 Chevelle that I inherrited get a frame off restoration with a big block 4 speed. 4. Have a big block 4 speed installed in my 71 Dodge Dart 5. Have unlimited time and funds to work in the yard doing landscaping The list goes on and on however those are it. I feel fortunate to have what I have. I feel I have worked hard to earn everything I have an at some point you have to stop and wonder if you are where you want to be in life based on the goals you set 5,10,20 years ago. I believe I am there Good post suggestion as usual Bud !!
stevasaurus 22,273 #6 Posted April 13, 2011 I have to agree with Stevebo on the health thingy...you do not have any thing if you do not have your health. So, let's see...not in order of importance... 1) jump out of airplanes...done that 2) have a great job and retire...done that 3) have a ski boat and fish salmon on lake Michigan...done that 4) have great kids who are not in trouble...done that 5) have really great friends though the years...ohhh yea 6) see most of the states in the union...gotta go through the north west yet (10 left to see) 7) Finally see Illinois win a championship in football or basketball...close but no cigar 8) go to the big show and met all the great people and win the raffle tractor...done that 9) go to the big show this year and pull out Butch's name for the raffle tractor... 10) be a grandfather before I get too old to enjoy it...jury is still out on this and out of my control 11) to not have to go through all of this again...

horsefeathers 15 #9 Posted April 14, 2011 Do you empty your bucket or fill it up?? Age has a lot to do with your anwser. I got my first bike at age 8 freedom the open road! First car at 17... 70 Charger R/T a real bucket! My son born when I was 25. Material things come and go! Get out there and live life now! Sky divin', Rocky mountian climbin', 8 seconds on a bull! Live your life NOW! Time's a wastin'!!!! Get out and go!! HORSEFEATHERS! YOU MAY NOT NEED THAT BUCKET LIST!
Trouty56 565 #10 Posted April 14, 2011 I have a few things in mind....shubox is on the right track there with a few...lol. I'm not sure health really determines whether you have it all or not though. Quite possibly health condition may make you more determined to experience all life has to offer. Like someone said to me just the other day, "Live each day like it was your last. One day it will be." I'll have to give this 'list' some thought though. Thanks for the post. Hopefully I will be a better person for this. Now I have to go apologize to my wife for being an azzhole this morning. See, it is working already. Life is way too short to be a jerk to my wife or to anybody for that matter. Have fun with this post guys. Good topic Horseyfeathers!!
