Mentone Swap Meet

Recommended Posts

Kelly

Is Mentone on daylight savings time?? I'm probably leaving here about 5:30am it's a 2.5 hour drive, and I need to ask for help, my oldest son will be working sat. and can not make it with me, my wife, daughter and youngest son will be with me, but I will probably need a hand unloading and reloading a few heavy items. Thanks in advance.

Kelly, look for an old bald redneck with an Alabama baseball cap. His name is Dunk and he will help you unload. Don't know if I would still be there to help you load it back up but if I am there, I will.

The truck is loaded. Smaller load than usual but with diesel at $4.30 a gallon I didn't feel like pulling a trailer.

See everybody tomorrow.

Mine is all loaded, not very full but as Jim said fuel is not cheap, so light load on the trailer, I think I have everything people asked me to bring.

Just got home, was a long day, we delivered a few items on the way home I sold, I did VERY good, almost as good as last year, I will be back, trailer was almost empty compared to when I arrived, and a BIG thank you to all that helped me load up at the end, and my wife thanks you also.

I got soaked and froze my butt off, but that's ok, I got to see some old friends and meet some new faces. See everybody in the fall, hopefully it will be a little drier.
