fdsinozich 1 #1 Posted April 11, 2011 The C-120 I recently purchased has dry rot cracks in the tires. With tubes in them, I'm not having any problems. Should they be replaced? Thanks, Frank
Kelly 1,028 #2 Posted April 11, 2011 If they hold the tubes in and have tread on them and you don't mind the weather cracks, I say leave them, many of mine are cracked, but new tires are nice, for restores they sell a tire paint, I have not tried it YET, but will someday. JC 1965 1,528 #5 Posted April 11, 2011 If your going to use the tractor as a worker, then i say leave the tires on. Have you priced new tires lately?

AMC RULES 36,945 #7 Posted April 11, 2011 You can get this stuff, RuGLYDE sold through NAPA only. Its the stuff they use to mount tires with. Really helps to prevent rubber from further dry rot. I use it on my 30 year old, original bias plys to keep 'em looking like day one. Put a little in a spray bottle and spritz 'em down a couple times a year, all the under car suspension pieces too. It's always worked pretty good for me.
