yamahalic63 0 #1 Posted April 11, 2011 The seat on my 520 has seen better days, so in the market for a new seat. What's everyone using? Found 2 with armrests at Northern Tool for about 100 bucks, but unsure of the mounting alignment with the stock springs.

JC 1965 1,528 #4 Posted April 11, 2011 I agree with Mike, the ones from Surplus Center are hard to beat. Good quality and pretty decent price, Just my 2 cents worth.
tarcoleo 119 #5 Posted April 11, 2011 With back and other problems, I have found that regular seats with limited springyness conducted to much jolt and bounce to the old corpus. On my two C-series WH, old timey perforated implement seats were installed with U-springs giving a baby-buggy ride to this operator. Ain't stock, works great, looks classic. There are a lot of seats like this in scrap piles and flea markets. Tom in RI

GMCman 0 #7 Posted April 11, 2011 When i had my cub up and running i didnt have a seat but luckly the bracket for the seat and a bracket for a fishing seat out of a boat fit perfectly. so if it is non useable that could be a temp fix. O i have older mowers but if u ever get one like mine thats always good.
