Spring Time in Deepest West Sussex

Anglo Traction

Well, I thought I would share with you all, the place that I look after a few hours a week for the Lady I obtained my Raider 12 from.

We have had below 15% of the average Rainfall for this time of year, and the Temperatures over the last 4 days have been over 70f.

Prolific growth, a good two-three weeks early..... Here's a few shots of the grounds

This is the new Veg Area that I've Tilled recently. It used to be a Fenced Dog Pound area. was overgrown for over 14 years and was cleared last year.

Water level dropping fast, so hopefully it will dry out this summer, so it can be deepend.

North Boundary wall has 2 Pear trees trained and plan to put a few canes of raspberry and blackcurrants further along. Plum Copse in blossom on the left.

Neighbouring property on the other side of the wall.

1 of several Old Oaks. Tractor in the background is not a WH.

lawn patch repairing finished, so 1st full cut will be next week.

And a few rotting implements in a collapsed outbuilding. Both past saving I reckon.

For me, it's one of the best places in the world to be at this time of year.

Beautiful pics of things turning green in the spring. My favorite time of year. But it's not happening here just yet, but soon.

I'm not so sure those implements are beyond hope. you should pull them out in the open and have a closer look.

Great pictures Richard, love the duck. :D

My eldest daughter is a member of the orchestra at her school, the other night they held a spring concert, during the interval I went out to get some fresh air.

I could not believe how warm it was, the grass on the grounds must have been cut that day.....it was just like a mid summers evening...really weird. :wh:

More pictures of spring I say, while it lasts
