Shuboxlover 474 #1 Posted April 4, 2011 I emailed a guy this past week about the tractor he had on Craig's list, he was asking $500...didn't run, no attachments. So I called him, talked to him for a while, and we finally agreed on a price.... $100. So I made plans to meet him today. Well, I ended up finding some other stuff that was about 20 miles from this guy, but he didn't know what it fit. I made arrangements to meet him also while I was down there. I had an idea what it was, but didn't want to get my hopes up. l....12 hrs later, $125 bucks in gas, $20 in food....and I finally made it back with this.... And my awesome, beautiful wife had the beer and potato salad cold! + frying some chicken!! These are the attachments I picked up for $275.... I know the blade is for the 250, but is the blower and the loader? I was afraid that I would have a D-250, but nothing to do with it, but it was SUCH a coincidence that I found the tractor and attachments 20 miles from each other (275 miles away from my house) on the same trip. The loader is rough, but may be fixable... Can anyone identify these parts??? I plan on getting this old girl running and restored (may take a couple years) but I fell in love with the D-250's the first time I saw them....don't really know why

chevelletown 37 #11 Posted April 4, 2011 Nice haul Corn Husker! I grew up and went to college in Nebraska, didn't know what a W/H was until I moved to Indiana. Its good to see one of you guys out West find some good deals. The blower and FEL are for a D250.
mr.pipes 4 #12 Posted April 4, 2011 Nice score there. Sounds like your road trip went smoother than my last one. The loader doesn't look to bad. I'm guessing the bucket is the worst cause it was on the ground? As far as the parts identification starting on the left. ( these are guesses) 1. Looks like some sort of small metal rings looped together to make a net. (Sarcasm) 2. Shaft drive for the blower? I have never seen one but remember it being mentioned when Sparky sold his. 3. Chute control crank? 4. Replaced or replacement lift cylinder for dozer blade? 5. Looks like the cover that is already on the blower for the belt or shaft. 6. ? 7. ? 8.? Is the blower shaft or belt driven?

Save Old Iron 1,563 #14 Posted April 4, 2011 1. Looks like some sort of small metal rings looped together to make a net. (Sarcasm) Its chain mail to be worn on your head like King Author's knight Sir Lifts-a-Lot. It protects new FEL users who overload the bucket and raise it too high over the tractor. baerpath 517 #15 Posted April 4, 2011 1 chains 2 right angle gear box for the blower missing the rubber mount can be replaced with a lovejoy connector 3 shoot crank 4 lift cylinder for the snowblower without the mount 5 shaft cover for the blower 6 think the tensioner for the front pto You got a great deal Duane

Shuboxlover 474 #22 Posted April 4, 2011 Here's a pic I forgot to post.... I know the big square thing on the far laft is a weight box, but what are the other things....? I'll have more pics of small misc. parts that I got too, just not right now.
Shuboxlover 474 #23 Posted April 4, 2011 That new garage must be full by now..? Nice haul!!! TOO FULL....that's why it's outside Should have built it bigger Chevelletown.....THANKS for the pics, those help out a TON!!! Do you have those manuals in .pdf form???
fireman 1,021 #24 Posted April 4, 2011 The part just to the right of the weight box is the subframe for the loader. The part to the right of that looks like a blade for the front of the loader when you take off the bucket.
Brrly1 1,146 #25 Posted April 4, 2011 I think the piece to the right on the bottom is a rototiller? That would be my guess. I have had one of these before, also had the tiller.
