Is my Mower Bar Lift Bent?

I purchased a 1988 414-8 with a 48" SD deck 05-48MS05 a couple of weeks ago and was trying out the deck yesterday and noticed the center pulleys grease zerk rubbing against the bar lift? The deck works great but from what I see so far all looks to be installed correctly except for this. When the deck height is adjusted to a higher setting is when the grease zerk has touched the bar lift. Is this thing bent or is something missing? thx

I've seen many touching or very close, pull the deck off, look at the back of the T bar the cross shaft lots of times is bent, you can pull the C clip on on side and remove it to repair it.

It might be. Make sure that the deck is in the mid mount on the the tractor correctly. May not be centered. :thumbs:
