Going to the Toro site, the parts manual is available as a download but the owners manual is not available for free. (As a download). Maybe a member has a rear engine rider manual that is "close enough" to 1988 but otherwise, the parts manual is the best I could come up with! Go to: https://lookup3.toro.com/request/request.cfm Enter 33-08B505 under the model number. Under serial number, type "None" and hit "submit" The parts manual may be of help! Sorry! We'd take a parts manual, I clicked on the link you provided, but when I enter the model number and type in "none" as the serial number I get an error message saying that I typed in an invalid model number...?
