RyanM84 0 #1 Posted March 24, 2011 Can some one tell me how to tear down a spindle I understand the bearings are pressed in but how do you get them out???
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #2 Posted March 24, 2011 Remove the grease fitting and tap the shaft DOWN through the bearings. Once the shaft is out, insert a drift (smaller than the ID of the bearing) down through from the top to knock the bottom bearing out. (you will have to push the center spacer off to the side and hit the inner race of the bearing) Repeat for the opposite end - but you won't have a bearing and spacer in the way, so it'll be easier.
