Off the top of my head: Different frame Different front axle/splindles/steering arms/tierods Different hood Different fuel tank and dash Different battery box I'm sure there are others I've missed... Kelly 1,028 #3 Posted March 24, 2011 The list of things that are the same is shorter, Things in common are seats, tires wheels, that is about it, the rest is all diff. in one way or another, just to name a few items, steering is diff. even front axle, hood on the 854 is longer than all the other round hoods of that style, dash towers are diff, because the style of lift arms are diff., fenders may look the same but in mid 63 they added a set of holes to fit the newer then toolbox, like I said the list is long of diff. things. for a coil, any batt. ign. coil from a Kohler will work on it.
