racinfool40 202 #1 Posted March 23, 2011 Ok!! I need some info..Had a question from a guy who owns a GT-14 with no deck but he has a 42" newer style attach-a-matic deck.. Is it possible to switch to a front mount mule drive on these tractors??? I don't have one or have access to one to see. I've made the Brackets that bolt on to attach the newer mule drive's for raider's already and switched them over to newer style decks..But is there any thing else that would get in the way on the GT's .. By Looking at the manuals and pics of GT's it looks like it can be done..Any help would be Appreciated !!!
refracman 166 #2 Posted March 23, 2011 Yes you can use a post 1973 deck. Easiest way is to use the attachamtic mount fixture off a newer tractor add side plates. Remember the GT14 frame is 8 1/2" and the all the rest are 7 1/2" wide frames, you will have place shims to fit. I have one made up from the 70s but im at work so no pics. racinfool40 202 #3 Posted March 23, 2011 :wh: Just what I was after- frame width dimension for the Gt's..I have made the bracket with a front attach bracket for my raiders and a few other people's tractors to mount snow blowers on.. Just wasn't sore on the GT's
