Butch 194 #1 Posted March 21, 2011 Plugged in the GPS today and programmed Rays address in and away my wife and I went. 3 1/2 hours later it finally said "Arriving at destination on right". Hmm figured Ray and Linda would hear the truck and come out. I don't see his truck or where he would keep his tractors. Hmm? No signs of them anywhere. Asked some people who were taking a break from raking leaves where the Bakers lived. "Never heard of them" came the reply. That's odd. To make a long story short I wasn't anywhere close mileage wise to Linda's and Rays. The Dukester, who made them WH business cards, put a wrong address on the cards when he made them and gave me one. Ray and Linda were miles away in another town. Mean while I'm ready to chuck the GPS out the window. My wife was upset because I didn't charge my cellphone. Why would I charge it? Heck I got GPS and Rays address. I don't need no stinkin cell phone. Well we finally hooked up and had a great time. Dukes ears should be on fire though!! He may have had the devil in him. I'll be rootin against Michigan all next season after that fiasco. I was surprised how heavy that plow was also. I went to yellowbook .com and typed in his Name, State, Town and up it came up 71 Back Street which is what I put on the Cards according to Ray the address was wrong So much for trusting the Phone book I just looked it up again and it is still wrong as is the google Maps <_< as it has a 71 back street listed Well So much for trying to hook a Buddy up! Butch 194 #13 Posted March 23, 2011 Yep it was comical. We all had a great laugh over it especially when Ray and Linda tried to figure out where I got there address. Ray said he didn't give it to me. Linda said she didn't give it to me. Here I was driving all the way there and they didn't know where I got their address!! We did laugh about it!
