Engine identification

Recommended Posts

jpmcleod

Before I ask this question I have tried to locate the information and can't find it.

Can someone give me a way to identify Kohler engines by their K series numbers rather than by horsepower.

The only one I know is a 301 is a 12 HP Kohler.

What K series are 8-10-12-etc.

Thanks.

Maybe i'm wrong but i think it is:

K91 = 4HP

K141= ? (6.25?)

K161 = 7HP

K181 = 8HP

K241 = 10HP

K301 = 12HP

K321 = 14HP

K341 = 16HP

K361 = 18HP (ohv engine) ?
