Grease nipples

Hi

Can anyone tell me the thread size of the grease nipples in a 300/400/500 series tractor. I got a couple today and asked for 1/8 NPT but the they are too big, they look more like 1/4 to me. I just want to check before I take them back.

They call them "Zerk fittings" up here, but I still prefer "nipples"

I'll have to measure one tonight if you dont get an answer, they are smaller than 1/8 NPT.

they are 1/4" X 28 threads per inch
