546cowboy 302 #27 Posted February 24, 2011  Every Wheel Horse I have is a Hydro and I really don't think there's any way to make them go fast. But I do have an old Craftsman that I played with a few years ago. Got it for nothing and was going to scap it when I decided it was too good to scrap. Here is what I ended up with http://cid-6e5aee197f68f76c.photos.live.co...Rod%20Craftsman I've had a lot of fun with the darn thing, it will wheelie and throw gravel when you shift on the fly and it will run about 27 m.p.h. That 27mph was somebody following me down the road in their truck.
baerpath 517 #28 Posted February 26, 2011 I would bet that some of the pulling tractors here are pretty fast like Deerehunters V twin powered puller, or Bearpaths pullers, Jim M just picked upp one that I bet is plenty fast. The 20hp stock usually runs 18 mph in 3 hi, the mod 21 in first gear three more to go never used them , Thats with a 7000lb transfer sled hooked to them and using the agritronics system Duane
