Here is what I'm finishing up before Project Raider can begin. Unfortunately I only have the time and room for one at a time

Project Powder Coat

Guess I would say it's a blasting/coating/painting sort of affair

Looks great! I hope you were able to do the grab rails and side covers with one can. The paint looked real good so I checked it out and it is $33.95 a can. Ouch!

I like you lift too. Is it anchored to the floor? Is it stable?

Not anchored. Just sort of sits there and holds it. You can wrench on it, push it or whatever... it's not moving.

That is fantastic work. My wife would complain about the paint also. Looking forward to seeing some powder coating on that Raider.

Didn't need to see much past the color to know what was coming!

Great bike, and excellent work. I briefly owned an old (1975?) KZ-1B...the original 900cc "super bike". Guess that would be this bikes "grandfather"! Looks like the grandkid is ready to kick some ass and take some names!

Beautiful. Maybe a video at some point? Would love to hear those pipes...

(This is not my actual bike, but one just like it.)

Nice job. I am a Wing rider myself. I have a friend of mine that has what I believe is a 78 KZ1000. Last year we put new sprockets on it to get a little more speed out of it. That thing is hoot to ride. But, the older I get the more I really like my Lazy-Boy on wheels

Probably not the best thing to say when you're talking about a motorcycle.
