wheelhorsejoe 4 #1 Posted February 14, 2011 Does anyone know how to attach the rod from the chute to a electric window motor ? I saw it on Dukes machine but I can't figure out what he used. Thanks

wheelhorsejoe 4 #3 Posted February 15, 2011 I had found these pictures, I am trying to figure out where he got the gear to attach one gear with the other.
wallfish 15,927 #4 Posted February 15, 2011 That is a 2 stage blower and the worm gear that turns the chute is part of the blower. What snow blower do you have? The short chute single stage blower with the cable requires a different setup.
wheelhorsejoe 4 #5 Posted February 15, 2011 Thanks, But I am talking about the side that attaches to the window motor, there is a gear that is over the gear on the motor, that's the gear I referring to.
dodge78 90 #6 Posted February 16, 2011 In this picture? Looks to be welded right to the motor. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk82/ho...NE/PA220017.jpg
wallfish 15,927 #7 Posted February 16, 2011 Not sure what gear you are refering to. Mine has a small shaft that you drill a hole through and connect the small tube that goes to the worm gear with a pin. I'm sure there are many different style window motors out there so yours must be different. The easiest way is to find one with a shaft that fits inside the tube and drill a hole through it.
