Am picking up Twin C-125's in the morning(Saturday), how reliable are they? any known issues? and did all of them have plastic seat pans? And if so, can they be replaced with a metal pan? thanks!

I've owned mine since new in 1984 with no issues. Mine came with the metal seat pan.

Are they 8 speeds or auto's? The Black hoods came with a plastic fender in 1980-1983 but the 1984 model was metal. Any metal fender off the 1978 and up C series will fit with out any modifications but I think the 300 series fender looks best.

 Hi There, I bought a c-125 new in 1984. It was an 8 spd with metal

fender pan. I just sold it this summer and it still ran great. Never had any

real issues with it and we mowed severl acres, tilled garden, blew snow,

graded dirt etc. Great tractor and I always kinda liked the looks of the

black hoods anyway.
