repairman 7 #1 Posted February 7, 2011 WILL THE OIL PAN FROM A K-SERIES 14 HP ENGINE WORK ON THE 14 HP MAGNUM? I JUST BOUGHT THE MAGNUM TONIGHT AND REALIZED THERE ARE NO MOUNTING HOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN TO ACCOMMODATE WHEEL HORSE FRAMES I HAVE A K-14 THEY LOOK THE SAME?
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #2 Posted February 7, 2011 You can drill & tap the holes you need in the Magnum pan. They are actually (in line with) the same two holes used to hold the pan to the block on that side of the engine, they just go the whole way down through. TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #5 Posted February 7, 2011 601526 is the SPEC number, not the serial number. I have no idea on the "D" suffix either. I have never seen that before and it's not in any of my books. Perhaps you're misreading it?
