Steering in snow

Recommended Posts

I was wondering why some people put a roller chain in the middle of the front tire? Does it help with steering, how does it handle on a paved driveway?

Thanks Joe

I did it to mine last week. Works great. I was doing donuts on the ice in the road. Front wheels really grab. Get the chain as tite as you can on the deflated tire before you air it back up to about 14lbs (max rating on my tires) I used # 41 from TSC. Came in a 10 ft box & I only had about a foot left.
