wheelhorsejoe 4 #1 Posted February 4, 2011 I was wondering why some people put a roller chain in the middle of the front tire? Does it help with steering, how does it handle on a paved driveway? Thanks Joe
wh79d160 52 #2 Posted February 5, 2011 I did it to mine last week. Works great. I was doing donuts on the ice in the road. Front wheels really grab. Get the chain as tite as you can on the deflated tire before you air it back up to about 14lbs (max rating on my tires) I used # 41 from TSC. Came in a 10 ft box & I only had about a foot left.
can whlvr 991 #3 Posted February 5, 2011 it still works on pavement but it does leave marks and if you are fussy i woulnt recomend it on ashfalt, but it really works good on top of snow or ice
