rockbuilt 7 #1 Posted January 23, 2011 My C195 is pumping smoke and oil into the carb through the pollution tube I am told it needs new rings. I have tried to adjust the carb and it runs well for a while and no smoke from the exhaust, but the oil in the carb is choking out the engine. I can get it to run like a scared rabbit with the air filter off but I cant get it to stop spewing oil into the air cleaner any advice would be great Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

bobert94 38 #5 Posted January 23, 2011 It could be the umbrella valve in the breather assembly. There made of rubber and over the coarse of nearly 30 years they get brittle and the stem falls off.
