I have had that problem also...in my case, the file name was too long. The solution was to save the picture to my desk, then rename the file by clicking on it, then right clicking, choose rename then upload to photobucket. You also need to use the "URL" not the "IMG" for the avatar. Hope that helps. :banghead:

Call it like "avatar1.jpg

Avatars don't need to be uploaded to Photobucket. You can upload them directly to RedSquare. Just make sure that they are no larger than 128 pixels by 128 pixels

I have had no problem loading or changing my avatar with this method. :banghead:

Not being a computer guru. I have had the same problem. How do you get the pixel count down? Seems like any pic I want to use is too large a count.

Mine is 640 X 480. The site will resize it. I've seen others that are larger also.

I seen where the site will resize it, but so far no luck. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

For those having a problem with your avatar, AND if your avatar is on a service such as photobucket, post a link to the picture.

If you use photobucket...(or any other photo host) for Avatars you have to use the "Direct Link" code. You don't use the img code... that's only for pictures in posts.

I'll be happy to resize the image to 128x128 if you would like.

E-mail or PM me and we'll get it squared away....
