Repro rubber parts

Hi,

I am looking for someone who can cast repro rubber parts in Viton.

I have a oddball fuel pump diaphragm and a primer bulb that are both obsolete.

Already checking into it.

Problem is my resins don't hold up to prolonged or constant exposure to gasoline, and being an Epoxy, that's a part of what they are made of. Checking sources for a

material now that may work.

Charlie; still looking around for a Clear Resin for those Tecumseh Air-Oil Filters.

Basically, I can make & duplicate almost anything, but making it to survive & work in actual use is the challenge. MSDS, Spec's & Tech Sheets sure are not 100% right.

That's why I send out a some samples to some of our RS members to mount and check out new parts that I remanufacture, even if I try and duplicate an original part, the plastic always has shrunk over 30-40 years time and I must compensate by relocating mounting holes or something. In the case of the GT-14 Dash, the original dash had to be widened 3/8" and heightened 1/4" in size, plus re-drilled.
