mr.pipes 4 #1 Posted January 14, 2011 Hopefully someone can help with this. When I upload to Photobucket, is there a way to resize all my photos at once or do I need to do them individually? assuming I want them all the same size. Thank you
DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #2 Posted January 14, 2011 I use this but it's before uploading anywhere (XP version ) http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/d...eschelman2.mspx Windows 7 version http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Imag...oad-137644.html
Save Old Iron 1,571 #3 Posted January 14, 2011 Check out PicSizer http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...19668&hl=resize it not only changes the image size but can significantly "compress" the file size without changing the image clarity - a really big plus for dialup users and dialup uploaders. get it here (for free) http://www.axiomx.com/picsizer.htm p.s. there is a "batch" mode to allow resizing and compression of several images at the same time . sscotsman 186 #4 Posted January 14, 2011 Its easier to just resize the photos *before* you upload them to photobucket.. if you dont have a good program to use, I highly recommend: http://www.irfanview.com/ its a free download, I have been using it for 10 years. (makes a great viewer too..) I use it as the default image viewer on my computer.. cant do fancy stuff, like photoshop, but its great for viewing and resizing.. TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #5 Posted January 14, 2011 All you need to do is select the appropriate size just before you upload to Photobucket. When you click the green "Upload now" button, this should appear: Click on "Customize your upload options" which I have circled in yellow, and this window will open: Select the 640X480 size and click the blue "Save" button. Everything you upload from that time on will be 640X480 until you go back in and change the setting. :banghead:
mr.pipes 4 #6 Posted January 15, 2011 Thank you guys for the tips and suggestions. Thank you TT for the Photobucket help. I figured there was a way to do it easily but I'm a little A.D.D. sometimes. Seems like you always come through. I think you might be fishing for compliments so I'm not going to tell you, Your the man. See, damn A.D.D. again. :banghead:
