dirty larry 0 #1 Posted January 13, 2011 Hello I'm stuck i don't know whitch tractor to put a loader on i have a couple of choices my 1056 10 hp manual trans or my C 16 automatic 16 hp, it has a pump and one lift valve on it already i plan on building the loader and bucket,any ideas would be just great! both run very good my 16 auto is my daily mower i just got the 1056 last week for $85,it came with a snow blade and deck anyway does anyone have any plans for building one,or a used loader for sale? please let me know thanks ...............Dirty Larry also my home emailis lbovair1@cogeco.ca Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Gene_S 93 #6 Posted January 14, 2011 i don't think you need a lot of hp to run a loader. you would not want to run the loader off the hydro system on on the auto anyway. Front end loaders have their own hydraulic pumps that run off the PTO and don't run off of the same hydro pump as the tractors rear end and lift cylinders.
