Moving snow

Recommended Posts

Cleared about 18 inches of snow with the 88 416-8 with snow blower, first time using a blower. Did a great job had a real good time..

Did have one problem. After running for about 45 min. I shut down to move my truck and when I went to restart the battery was almost dead. I put the charger on for a half hour and got it started, the meter read 14v. with lights off and about 12 with lights on. I ran for about 15 min. and checked the meter again and it was reading 8v with lights on a 12 with lights off. The meter I'm talking about is the one on the dash. I don't undrstand why the output dropped. All readings were taken with throttle wide open.

:banghead: Snowhound,

I would go through and ck all your battery connections as well as

rectifier connections. Sounds like there might be a bad connection

somewhere if it is ok part of time and not part of the time.
