Sparky-(Admin) 19,587 #4 Posted January 12, 2011 For the most part weights for the rear rims are 50lb's each, sometimes more sometimes less but usually 50. I would think a set of 50 pounders and keep the air pressure low and you'll be all set. Squishy tires bite in better than rock hard ones so dont overinflate. Mike......... Wheel Horse Fan 3 #6 Posted January 12, 2011 I put the rubber chains on my AGs and it definitely helped with traction in the snow.

AMC RULES 36,945 #8 Posted January 12, 2011 How much air ? 10lbs? Airing them down, next to nothing + extra weight. Will that help? Within reason, tires gotta stay on the rim.
harleyjj 2 #9 Posted January 12, 2011 I run ags with 50lb weights and have no problems with slipping in the snow

stevasaurus 22,234 #11 Posted January 12, 2011 Thanks, I am surprised no one mentioned the lighted palm tree in the yard. I just saw this thread. Palm trees in the snow, cats and dogs sleeping together, running out of Rock-N-Rye, global warming. Nice picture.
