867 wiring question

Recommended Posts

multihobbyguy

When I purchased my 867 the tractor did not have most of the electrical accessories anymore. Over time I have found and purchased the gen light the lighter and now I have found an original light switch for the tractor. So I am wanting to wire the headlights back up and I am looking at the wiring diagram and I don't see a fuse in it anywhere. Am I right thinking there should be a fuse? Is there a fuse inside the voltage regulator on the generator? That is what is supposed to feed the lighter and lights. Any knowledge you would like to share would be appreciated. As always, thanks, Chris.

Here is the diagram I am using:

Accessory power should come from the left hand - or outer terminal of the voltage regulator.

Although :banghead: didn't fuse the lighter/headlight feed on these models, it would not be a bad idea if you installed an inline 15A fuse.
