clevis hitch on a 312-8

Hi All,

I would like to install a clevis hitch on my 1988 312-8. Will this type of hitch work on my tractor, and is there a lift rod required to operate this hitch?

Also what would this rod attach to on the tractor?

85518 should be the newest version of the clevis hitch kit. Last time I checked, the complete kit was around $300.

The front of the cable attaches to the bottom arm on the implement lift shaft.

Thank you very much, I see that there is much more required than just the hitch mount itself, may just stick with using the three point on the 2418.
