Hello All--I was looking around Toro.Com and saw this trac conversion unit for the zero turns.... check out this video. I was on the phone with Ed Cole (Engineer for Wheel Horse and now Toro) and he said I could buy the Zero Turn and mower with the conversion (no extra attachments) for around $15,000 and it was aimed at commercial guys... Well.... I don't think this is anything anyone of us will be buying but it sure is cool. If they offer it in full camo with a mount for my 30/30 I'll buy it for deer camp!! :banghead:

They're definitely neat, but the new mobile technician at E.H. Griffith (Toro dealer in Pittsburgh) told us that once something gets bumped or tweaked, the "less than four minutes" conversion turns into a few hours.

That sucker looks like it would a be a blast to use (but not pay for :banghead: ). My wife would have to bring the hot-cocoa out to me in that rig as I would never want to leave the cab in the winter.

In the video, it says "Two workers, four hours".

Yeah.... not sure why I typed minutes. :banghead: ( I must have had :ROTF: Attach-Matic stuff in my head :hide: )

Let me fix it:

They're definitely neat, but the new mobile technician at E.H. Griffith (Toro dealer in Pittsburgh) told us that once something gets bumped or tweaked, the "less than four HOURS" conversion turns into a few more.

No worries! :banghead:

Either way, I wouldn't mind spending a Fall Saturday switching that monster over for some winter fun!!!

Of course, if I had one, that would be the end of snow in central Virginia for decades!!!

That would be way too cool to have, but I would have no real use for it here, and for the money I could have a very nice truck.
