Ok Northeast guys, ready for another one?

I have a theory. When the weathermen "hype" up a storm it turns out to be nothing, but when they had originally downplayed a storm WATCH OUT! The beginning of the week, the weather forecast was for a chance of snow on Friday. Now we're *possible* of 7+ for tomorrow into Saturday! We'll see if they keep upgrading the totals, but get those snow Horses ready folks!

Not just in your neck of the woods Karl, they do it over here too. Must learn that in weatherman school.

You guys up there in the northeast are having all the fun. I'm sure your getting tired of all that snow, but some of us would gladly take it off your hands. :banghead: I need some seat time. Winter layoff for me, and nothing left to tinker with. Need some seat time

The last few winters here have been so light, I'm not even sure why I hang the snow equipment on my Horse's anymore.

I can get by with a leaf blower & broom. :banghead:

Not sure I'd want "North East type weather, but feel free to send a little back this way when your all tired of hoarding the snow.

I always enjoy a good dumping of snow on the weekend! Week day snow stinks though.

I just want a storm on the days I'm off. It seems all the storms are on days that I work. I want to have a good time with the snow. Getting up at 5am to get rid of the snow is no fun. Now one of the stations are predicting 6-10 in my area and I start work again on saturday.

The big problem with this winter, is that these storms are going out to sea then backing up and retro-grading over the northeast. The weather guy on our local NBC affiliate said this morning that it is difficult to forecast snowfall totals when this happens because the "Computer Models" are not programmed to handle these patterns.

We are supposed to get snow tomorrow through Saturday in Maine and no one dares to say how much! They also hinted a classic Nor'easter next Wednesday :banghead:

I'm with you Rick. If it was 75 and sunny tomorrow you wouldn't get any complaints from me.

:banghead: Well, I for one like the snow! Makes for a lot of hard work, but seems to purify things. (Until it gets dirty, then it can go away!)

Yup, my family (Vermonters on both sides) has always had a similar outlook - if the weather guy says major snow on the way, pour another cup of coffee and finish reading the paper. But if he calls for passing flurries, get yer arse off the couch, load the wood box chuck full, top off the kerosene lamps, put the snow shovel inside the front door and make sure all the equipment is full of gas. Ayup!

Wish I was a weatherman. It's the perfect job to have. You can be wrong half of the time, and still get paid :banghead:
