tearing apart my suburban 400

Recommended Posts

dave24

ive just got done tearing apart my suburban 400 so i can sand blast it :D .

i have got most of the parts needed now it is a matter of sanding and painting it then putting it together :D . some hillbillys cut the hood (shown in pics) so a bigger engine would fit, so its gonna be real fun to make it look nice :ychain: . ill keep ya updated with pics, i also made a topic erlier when it was still together if you want to see it.

Always take pics before you tear down! :D I think with the RJ's and Suburbans it will not be too bad. I do a speed disassembly on my C-Series to see how fast I can take one down to the frame and the first one I did, I used the parts diagram quite alot!!! :D It also pays to have a couple other tractors just like the one you are tearing down! :ychain:

That's the trick! Spent some time looking at my other tractors during reassembly! :ychain:
