Redbirdman 7 #1 Posted January 1, 2011 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1- HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM Arizona................. geesh...the whole world is jumping up and down and I am sitting with a bottle of gin, a 1961-701, a bunch of RJ parts and a really badly sprained leg after a stupid fall off the wing of an airplane today.........(the ladder kicked out!) But the pain is keeping me awake, the 'ol 701 and the Stearman is giving me companionship and the thought of a bunch of people with the same love of red iron is giving me comfort....happy new years to you all! neil 2,410 #2 Posted January 1, 2011 Happy New Year from Me in Great Britain Im sorry to hear that you have damaged your ankle and i know that it can be very painful as i have done the same thing quite a few times. i guess you will be off your feet for a week or two. Redbirdman 7 #6 Posted January 1, 2011 Thanks everyone....alcohol therapy helped a lot, but today I got around on the 701 and made all my obligatory visits. Very difficult getting on and off but once on the 701 I was fine. Much easier than climbing in and out of the truck.
