D-250 Headlamp Lens Replacement

As you may know, a few weeks ago I acquired a D-250 that was listed in the classified section. There are a couple of things I need to address and one of them is the headlamp lens. It is cracked through the diameter of the lens vertically. While I have not tried to remove it at this time, I suspect it will come out in more than one piece when I do. I have been watching the usual places, i.e. Red Square classified, eBAY, Craigslist, etc. but, to no avail.

Anyone have any ideas where to find one?

Not sure, but I think those are sealed beam lights mounted in rubber grommets?? if so you should be able to buy a new light at a auto parts store.

There is a screw in the bottom of the bezel. Take it out and the whole bezel and lens comes out. Toro still sells the lens but its around $40. Check out partstree.com. Enter your model which should be 91-20RG01 or 81-20RG01.
