mr.pipes 4 #9 Posted December 30, 2010 That looks beautiful. Did you do it youself or send it out? I have Kohler twins in three of my machines but never looked into rebuilding them. They all are runnig good and I'm a little scared to know what it would cost. Should I be scared if the cost? Was it hard to find any of the parts? Thanks for any info you can provide. bobert94 38 #10 Posted December 30, 2010 Yes i did the work myself, I work in a machine shop so i have access to mills, lathes,Etc. Most of the wear parts are availlable pistons, rings, valves, etc. But they are not cheap. costs about 3 times as much to rebuild a twin over a single.
