buckeye 5 #2 Posted December 28, 2010 I hear there are no tickets available to the Ohio State - Arkansas game. It appears that the Buckeyes are not allowed to sell anything! :ychain:
papaglide 542 #3 Posted December 28, 2010 Nice post! Nebraska (10-3) against Washington (6-6) don't see this being too close. I enjoy watching Nebraska. Their move to the Big 10 has me interested. Notre Dame (7-5) against Miami (7-5)= replay of the old convicts vs catholics, I will be watching. Northwestern (7-5) against Texas Tech (7-5) another interesting game Michigan St. (11-1) against Alabama (9-3) the first loss for the SEC Florida (7-5) against Penn St. (7-5) just might be the SEC's 2nd loss Michigan (7-5) against Mississippi St. (8-4) Rich Rod's make it or break it game. TCU (12-0) against Wisconsin (11-1) I got a feeling that TCU may be over matched Ohio St. (11-1) against Arkansas (10-2) I am thinking that this will be the SEC's 3rd loss. should be a lot of fun watching! Brrly1 1,146 #4 Posted December 28, 2010 Especially not there jock straps, WOW, I just had to do it Buckeye. I might as well apoligize to the rest of the Buckeye fans (Mike C-Series, Bitten) I just couldn't help it. Steve, its looking like its going to be a Good Bowl season. I am hoping that the Hawkeyes can start off on a good note. Although they are having a few problems in the life styles of their players it should still be a good game. Hoping for nothing but positive outcome. See Ya, Bye Burly :ychain:
stevasaurus 23,274 #5 Posted December 28, 2010 I am hoping to have a lot of fun with this thread. That said...I think Papaglide is pretty much right on with how I would call it...but the Big Ten can't win all of their games...can they? May Michigan score nothing but touchdowns...lord help them if they have to kick the ball.

DMK855 15 #11 Posted December 29, 2010 Watching West VA and NC State right now.....but this may not be a "real" bowl game by some standards...... Duff I guess the OU vs. Conn. game will not make "real bowl" status either!!! But, I will be watching....... GO SOONERS!!
HorseFixer 2,013 #12 Posted December 29, 2010 Congratulation's Iowa Hawkeyes!! :D
Brrly1 1,146 #13 Posted December 29, 2010 Quite the nailbiter! Well The Big Ten is 1-0. It was a heck of a game. How about our freshman running back running for over two hundred yards. I believe he took MVP. Ya Gotta Love It and I do for sure. Great win Hawkeyes!!!! See Ya, Bye Burly Go Hawkeyes!!! :D
stevasaurus 23,274 #14 Posted December 29, 2010 WAY TO GO HAWKEYES. They showed a ton of class by taking that knee on the one yard line at the end of the game. Two very good teams going after it...great game. Duff and all others, when I said "real" bowl games, I meant "all" of the larger bowl games that are left. I just typed out the big ten and a couple of others. You gotta know that I will be watching the Ok game and all the other ones also. Please, don't take me wrong here and join in with your favorite team/s. While we are at it...Congratulations to the Northern Illinois Huskies over Fresno St. This was another great game. Duff 206 #15 Posted December 29, 2010 Heck, Steve, no offense taken! I'm just grateful that there are some teams out there to watch in bowl games. My own college could have had a 16-0-0 season three years in a row (it didn't) and still not be bowl eligible. Ever since its formation, the Ivy League has maintained strict rules barring its football teams, and only its football teams, from competing in their sport's post-season tournament. Anyway, I'm pretty open minded about who wins the bowls. I just like quality football! Duff :D
stevasaurus 23,274 #16 Posted December 29, 2010 Duff...I did not know that about the Ivy league...always wondered why we don't see them...they do have some very good teams.. go Illinois.
Dresden Guy 24 #17 Posted December 29, 2010 I saw all the Ohio State Buckeye players who sold stuff, do their apology to the local press last night, and if I heard it correctly, all of the players, except Devier Posey, (WR) will make themselves eligible for the pro draft and skip their last year instead of sitting on the bench ...... including Pryor. I don't know if they are all seniors or not. There also was a rumor on all the local Columbus TV stations that Tressell was leaving after the Sugar Bowl, but that is apparently not true........ although we all remember Rich Roriguez and WV and how he lied to them and left the next day for Michigan. bitten 134 #18 Posted December 29, 2010 Go Big Ten. It sure would be nice if we can get the respect that we deserve.

Holy Cow...you can't tell me those guys did not know the rules. That being said...wouldn't be nice if they did not get drafted and were left out in the cold. How many people do you know that are struggling to make ends meet and these guys have the world by the tail and think they deserve it and throw it all away. Brrly1 1,146 #22 Posted December 30, 2010 Steve, Congrats on the win! It is definitely another Big one for sure. Wow 2-0 with Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, and Wisconsin yet to play. That has to be more than any other conference on record of playing in post season bowl games. Especially if we go undefeated! Big Ten Rules!! SEC what? Pac Ten did what? Just goes to show you, How we Roll! See Ya, Bye Burly :D
evanloock 236 #23 Posted December 30, 2010 "SEC what???" Interesting statement since our 1st Bowl game is today.
Brrly1 1,146 #24 Posted December 30, 2010 Sorry to hear that. I don't believe they will think much of the Big Ten after this year. But wait I forgot they already think that they are mightier than the all mighty. I really don't believe thats going to hold much water this year. Aren't they playing three different games or is it four doesn't matter to much I see them going down in all of them. I guess after that point we will see all of the Big Ten haters surface but then the point will be proven. SEC is way over rated! Good Luck Take care See Ya, Bye Burly :D
evanloock 236 #25 Posted December 30, 2010 You know what they say about opinions.....that being said I believe the SEC will do well as usual. Oh and the SEC is in 10 Bowl games, including the BCS Championship game, not "3 or 4".
