Just finished my C-120

Recommended Posts

Like the title says I just got my 76 C-120 finished, now I'm ready for some snow. The plow in the pics is an old sears that I rigged up to use for now, until I can find an original.

I'm in southern Ohio, when I first got this wheel horse that was the plow configuration it came with I hate to run it like that but until I get one I guess I have no choice.

Looks great! :ychain:

If you check out this topic you can get an idea for a blade lift modification so you can ditch the cable:

http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showtopic=23781

If you weld or bolt an "arm" sticking down from the back of the blade frame about six inches, you can push it up using a lift tube - just like the blade in the above topic, or an OEM snowthrower.

Thanks for all the positive responses, I am in the process of changing my lifting feature I should have it finished tomorrow and will repost pics asap. And as for the seat it came from www.northerntool.com here is the item information Michigan Seat Lawn Tractor Seat, Model# V-250, and for$40.00 I dont think you can beat it it looks fairly stock and bolted right on without any modification. Thanks again

What TT said, see the cracks at the bottom of the trans plate around the bolt holes? at least put large washers on for now.

And great job on the plow lift :ychain:

Yes during the restore I welded the cracks up just didnt do the best job smoothing them back out, but I may still put the washers on there that sounds like a good idea

Nice job on the restore and fabrication on the lift assembly. I have the same machine, but mines in 3-boxes waiting to be reassembled.

What did you use for paint?
