Would anyone have a good picture of the deck height adjuster decal or know what numbers go next to each height adjustment hole on an 857 mower deck? i think the deck is an rm367. i'd like to see if terry can make them but this is the only pic i have. thanks, Denny.DSC00801.jpg

i dug around and found another deck with this decal. i was able to get the decal size 5/8 x 3 3/4" but i'm not sure of the numbers printed on it. by looking at both pics i'm guessing they are 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 - 2 1/8 - 2 1/2 - 3 - and 3 1/2. any educated guesses or corrections are certainly welcome. thanks TT for correcting me on the name of this decal. i learn something every day on this forum. Terry, the decal measures 5/16" from end to center of black bar on both ends. the black bars are 1/8" x 1/8" and are 5/8" apart center to center. the whole numbers are 5/32" tall and the fractions are 3/32" tall. anything else you need, let me know. thanks, Denny.

What year and deck size are these for?

Should be 1966 to 1969 32 & 36 inch gear-driven / two-blade / rear discharge decks.

I'll see if I can verify that. :ychain:

Edit:

P/N is 6743 ~ used on the following:

Uhhhhhh......... :ychain:

There should be two of the #3710 "keep well greased" arrows and two of the #4570 "caution" decals too.

I think that's it - without taking a walk to the shop. :D

Let me see what I have stashed on the 'puter first. :D

Is that 2 1/8th marking correct? All the other numbers are in 1/4 inch increments.

OK, Mr Wizard........

You have the "grease arrow" decals and almost the same CAUTION decals in this set:

I'll have the update on the CAUTION decal in a few minutes. :ychain:

I am not sure Jim, Just going off the provided info.

You may be right.

I cant make it out from the image but 1/4 inch makes sense.

2 1/8 is correct. It has to do with the arc of travel of the gauge wheel assembly.

Here's the CAUTION decal photo:

122810007.jpg

Text reads:

CAUTION

STAND CLEAR

KEEP FEET AWAY - REVOLVING BLADES

1. OPERATE MOWER ONLY FROM SEAT

2. CLEAR CUTTING PATH OF DEBRIS

3. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY

4. NEVER LET ENGINE RUN UNATTENDED

Dimensions should be the same as this one:

http://www.redoyourhorse.com/servlet/the-1...L-DESIGN/Detail

(I forgot to measure it :ychain: )

Yep! That's clearly an "eight" in this pic.

I went out in the cold and looked at mine. Half the decal is missing. Guess which half.

Sounds like something is snafued in the email department, either his or yours - Terry' s usually fairly quick in replying to folks. Have you tried calling him? (phone number is on his web site).

no i didnt try calling him. We had emailed each other several times about the decals i wanted and i ordered them. Well when the order came it was'nt quite right. I emailed him right away, and he said he new what the problem was and would take care of it. Since then he has'nt respoded to my emails. Terry does great work and i have never had a problem before. and i will continue to do buisness with him. just sad only needed these last ones for my restoration. :ychain:
