WheelHorse_of_course 99 #1 Posted December 23, 2010 Hey Folks, Not sure where to post this. I put it in the Wanted section but got no replies, so I am trying again by putting it here. I am compiling a master Table of Contents for Wheel Horse Service Bulletins. The completed result will be available to anyone who desires it as a file. For each bulletin, I am trying to find the Title, year issued, and a brief description. While some Service Bulletins have been superseded, I would like to locate them in any case. I suspect there are numbering gaps, but I want to find details on all that existed. There are three categories of Service Bulletins: A) REO and Wheel Horse Products. These share the same numbering scheme. I have numbers ranging from 3 to 448. I am looking for any information about the following Bulletin numbers (even if the only information you have is that it is mentioned elsewhere, it would be good to know if a given bulletin existed. Ideally I would like the information listed above). 1, 2, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27-36, 39, 40, 43, 44, 62 (I have 62A and 62B), 78, 85 (I have 85A), 111-120, 122-125, 127-133, 135-143, 145, 147-153, 155-159, 161 (I have 161A), 162-173, 176, 178-194, 196-206, 207 (I have 207A and 207B), 208-216, 218-236, 238-241, 243-272, 274-300, 301, 301A, 301B, 301C, 301D (I have 301E), 302-304, 306-325, 326, 326A (I have 326B), 327-337, 338, 338A (I have 338B), 339-346, 349, 350, 351, 353-367, 368 (I have 368A), 370-387, 388 (I have 388A), 390-393, 394 (I have 394A), 395-401, 403 (I have 403A), 404-412, 414-424, 426-428, 432-438, 440-447, any number greater than 448 B ) T series numbers. These appear to start in 1989. Instead of "Service Bulletins" these are referred to as I am looking for: T1-T17, T19-T44, any number greater than T45 C) Toro numbers. I have no idea if the Wheel Horse stuff has their own number range, or if the missing numbers cover Toro stuff unrelated to the Wheel Horse Line. These start in 1991 and presumably continue until the end of the WH line (they probably still continue to this day). Any additional information would be appreciated. At least for now I am looking for: 1, 3-6, 8-11, and number greater than 12. NOTE: Toro series number 12 is dated 1992. Therefore there are Service Bulletins from 1992/3 until the end of the end that I have no information about. OK folks, please take a look to see if you have any of these. At the very least, I would appreciate the information detailed above, however a PDF or photo-copy of the Bulletin would be great as well, as I'd like to compile a complete set. Cheers Rolf :ychain:
Trouty56 565 #2 Posted December 23, 2010 Anonymous posted some files that he compiled about 6 or 7 weeks ago that may contain some of the service bulletins that you might be missing. They were contained in a RAR archive file. They are in the second file in this post. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?...topic=22245&hl= If they are still being hosted. CasualObserver 3,406 #3 Posted December 23, 2010 Rolf, First...you may want to get a hold of Garry West, because I'm pretty sure he's already done this exact same thing. I own and scanned the early WH service bulletins that are out there on the net. If you look at the bottom of some of them, you'll see they tell you the numbering order of the released bulletins. For the early Wheel Horse ones, many of them were internal service/manufacturing bulletins that didn't apply or make it to the dealer level, so odds on getting #1-11 is very unlikely. They probably don't exist outside of maybe one copy in the old engineering files in the vault at Toro. I have a REO binder too, that has all of those (I may have scanned them, I don't remember and don't have that stuff handy at the moment) Those are a separate run of numbers, they don't overlap with the WH ones. Thanks :ychain:
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,503 #9 Posted December 27, 2010 No master list. Just one I made up from the bulletins that have been found. The Database Table has any model numbers and part numbers in the bulletin so a search will bring them up. Also tried to categorize them to engine, transmission, mowers etc so they can be sorted that way. Some are entered more than once because they contain multiple subjects. Think I added an A and B or 1 and 2 to the bulletin number in these cases. Some bulletins have a page missing only to find the missing page on a later bulletin so at some point there was a mass printing of them. Likely when they went from micro-fiche to paper. Some of the late original WH bulletins are duplicated in a Toro bulletin. Still a work in progress. If you come across any of the missing ones sure would appreciate a copy.
