6wheeler 669 #1 Posted December 20, 2010 Any fans out there? They are playing at the UofM... Not a winter facility. Some of the players are whining "it'll be like playing on concrete". The field is not heated at all, They thawed it. But, say. " By half time it"ll frozen again". Since the MetroHump, as we call it, deflated. This is their plan. The game must go on. My opinion? Take your millions, quit whining and play. I'll be watching from my livingroom thank you. Pat
stevasaurus 23,274 #2 Posted December 20, 2010 I agree Pat...and I know for sure that DA BEARS can handle anything the Vikes throw at them...if they are not hibernating again. A bears victory will really put them in the drivers seat after the Packers game last night. just imagine another Bears/Patriots Super Bowl. Where is the Fridge??? :ychain:

I was at all the home pre-season games and home games well into November that year. I watched Payton when he broke that record... Tickets were free and in will call until the ticket owners started wanting to go which was OK by me, I watched the rest of the season in the warmth of my living room.... Gerry w 2 #13 Posted December 27, 2010 Okay, I'm a die hard Vikings fan, have been since the purple people eaters when they DID play in the snow! That said this year has been a HUGH disappointment, and they did play like girls, and yes, the bears pounded them and their KICKER complained about it being cold.... BUT just how bad does a team have to be to piss off GOD to make the "sky" fall!!?? The Humps roof!! As a Vikings fan our yearly cry....Next year!!! :D

Butch 194 #22 Posted December 30, 2010 Butch...where have you been??? Do all Joisey girls like Philly??? Not all of them. Some like the Giants. I don't think any of them like the Jets. I have been busy especially since I bought a new TV. The new TV required new carpeting in the family room, stairs and hall. Plus I had to scrape off the dated 70s popcorn in 4 rooms, the stairs and hallway. I had to paint 3 rooms plus the stairs and hallway plus I need to repaint the kitchen and put wood flooring in 3 rooms and the foyer. I didn't know it was so complicated to buy a tv these days. Retirement is busy busy busy!
