TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #2 Posted December 4, 2010 6738 is the spindle to spindle (to spindle ) belt for many 42" SD mower decks. 9782 is the PTO to deck drive belt for the late 60's / early 70's models with the goofy boomerang tensioner crap fastened to the mid-hitch. 7478 is a very popular hydro tractor drive belt and was used on Chargers, Electros, Broncos, and many of the early C series, etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Not as good as the later front mount design, yes (though it does leave the front tachamatic available for other things (like running the chipper without removing the mower deck). Crap? I think that is just a bit too strong! Works OK on my Charger. I do need to replace the bearings on the two idlers - I think it is pretty cool they are cast iron with replaceable bearings. :ychain: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He is asking $40.00. My Raider has the "goofy mid mount tensioner" and a 42" deck. I also have the 877 hydro and I wonder if the last belt number will work with it? Thanks again........
