C-85 653 #1 Posted November 25, 2010 Hi W/H Folks, I just wanted to show off my latest upgrade to my C-85 plow tractor! Hopefully the link that I put in for this will work so you can see it. I've added a pair of cast iron front wheel weights and also a pair of Carlilse Snowhog tires to it. Now I'm hoping that it will steer in the snow! Last spring I added a weight box to this unit and that compounded the steering problem, but did give it more rear traction. The weights were from a J Deere and were all yellow, but as you'll see I fixed that problem! I've attempted to add a link to this with a picture so I hope it works. I would have liked to have added some of the pictures I have directly to this like I've seen other members do, but I haven't learned how to do that yet. If anyone could tell me how it's done I would really appreciate it. C-85 Attached Image

Duff 206 #4 Posted November 25, 2010 Nice set-up, Dennis! I also like the stenciled "Wheel Horse" on the weights - very cool! Duff :)
Gerry w 2 #5 Posted November 25, 2010 Wow! Those sure look aggressive, please keep us up on how well they work! I'm using the roll chain on my front tires on the raider, and would like to find a good alternative to that. Love the weights, nice work.
