Well I did it , after Terry's little pep talk yesterday , he said he made a snow plow out of wood. I figured I'll get off my lazy butt and modify this , its a gravely and to my surprise after I got it home , I slid it under my tractor and I dont think its gonna be that hard. I was worried about the blade pivot weither the handle would clear the foot rest and it does just barely however it will be easy to extent for more clearance. It will be a few days before I get started but I'll besure and post some pictures.

Sounds like you have a plan! Dont forget to splash it with some red paint .

I made a snow plow out of wood also and used it several winters as a kid on a C-160 so have fun, that is what is all about!!! :thumbs:

Here's some update photos

I thought i could just sqeeze it together to fit the plow mount bracket , wrong the frame would hit the brake and trans pulley ,so

I cut it off and jig'd it up and welded , lot of measuring

I cut the blade down to a 42" , so I could load it on my trailer,trailer is 48" wide

now test mount ,everything looking good so far

calling it a day
