ricksrj58 273 #1 Posted November 15, 2010 i brought home a d160 and had a minor fuel problem. i was telling my nephew about it and how we thought maybe the float was hanging up.later that night i fixed the problem and the next day my nephew came over to fix it while i was at work. he took sandpaper to the float and made it smaller so it could not hang up on anything now i need a new float right? my local dealer could tell me nothing when i tryed to get a part number/price. it is a onan twin engine. Edjfleming 0 #2 Posted November 15, 2010 Hi Rick, Ebay has the brass replacement float for $25.00. I can email it to you?
KB9LOR 4 #3 Posted November 16, 2010 Do you have the model number on the engine? My book is showing Onan Part number 146-0380 That number fits: BF,BG,B-43,B-48 Model Onan engines.(It is a metal float) My cost is about the same as the ebay price, mine is brand new though. Can't say about the ebay one. Regardless I hope this helps.
