Center Pully For 48" Deck

Is the bottem and top pully the same size P/N 106073 on the center pully? Anyone have a picture of one

Sorry - no picture..... but both grooves are the same diameter - which is the same as the two outer pulleys.

Thanks for the reply TT Question?? could you use that center pully on a 42" deck and change the blade pullys on the 42" deck to ones used on a 48" deck

You could, but because the blades are shorter on the 42, the tip speed would be lower.

Does that really matter? Would you notice a difference in the quality of cut?

My answer to both questions would be "I doubt it", but the possibility does exist.

You'd also need to "experiment" with the belt length since no OEM deck used that configuration.
