LeonardS 0 #1 Posted October 28, 2010 Have any of you tried putting bigger tires on an RJ or Suburban....like 23x8.50x12 or 23x10.50x12 on the rear and maybe 16x6.5 on the front? I would like to see pictures of how they look with the bigger tires. I thought it should make them look like a tough little tractor!! Leonard
CasualObserver 3,406 #2 Posted October 28, 2010 My RJ came with 8.50s on it... I thought it looked goofy. It got the extra pair of 6-12 ags I had on the shelf. It might make them look tougher... but there's very little weight on any of the wheels on the RJs and Suburbans... and if you spread it out over a larger footprint... you'll likely lose traction much easier. JUSS10 250 #3 Posted October 28, 2010 not quite an RJ or suburban but i put a set of 8.5's on my 603 for mowing. i really like the look but like casual observer said, you loose traction. i tried to do some field work with those tires on it and it just wouldn't grab.
