All set up for snow

Recommended Posts

This will be my first year using a single stage. Looking forward to it. Don't like snow much but love moving it with a wheel horse.

416-H,

70 pound wheel weights should be ok

Sorry the photo is so fuzzy - didn't come out as nice as I hoped.

My cat is not as stealthy as she likes to think.

Looks good.

I have the same setup, but with a 48" blade.

Those newer cabs sure have a lot more room in them.

Cat.....what cat?

Looks good.

That 16 horse will shoot it pretty good. Make sure you set those skid shoes so the stones don't turn it into a machine gun and shoot that, not so stealthy ninja cat.

Terry - is that your 416-8 with single stage on youtube titled "1992 416-8 Wheel Horse throwing snow"? I like that video a lot. Short but good. I have watched it many many times.

Gerry - no D again this year. Maybe next year. I really need to spend time on the D to be satisfied that it is going to be reliable. It has let me down multiple times - I always get it going but I do not trust it enough to rely on it...yet.

John - I will be sure to raise the skids high. Usually I do not remove the first snowfall or two. Just drive over it with the truck to get some hard pack so I can lower the skids.

Looks good Darren! Get ready we had the white crap over here north of us. North Dakota got around 8" in some areas.

Seems like it just melted from last winter <_<

Looks Great! Wish I could find/afford a tall chute single stage.

I do like the cab I used last winter. No snow in the face, no sleet down the back of the coat. Shiny!
