Hello from Germany

Recommended Posts

C-Series14

I have a couple of those BIG mugs that the waitresses carry. That is what I was forced to drink when I was stationed there. 19 years old, country boy, use to drinking little cans, having a big mug of foreign beer put in front of me...I was out of it before I got to the bottom! Took me awhile but with weekly training for 2 years, I could handle a couple of them and still find my way back to the barracks....sometimes....

We used to have an old saying in the Navy: "I may get so drunk that I'll have to crawl home, but by God I'll crawl home like a sailor... "

Buzz, I think us "men" all know what a "pearl necklass" is!

But... I looked up "Titzenfloppen" in my Funk 'n Wagnells and nothing?

Would you care to elaborate?

Buzz,

Careful with the comments now, I know this woman (Kathy) personally. Believe it or not she is a school teacher, and the cousin of one my company associates. You should see the cousin, all 6' of her! Yea Haw! Kathy in the wedding dress and Veronika on the right. Kathy takes off from teaching each year for the 15 days of Oktoberfest to work as a Bier Frau.

Bud,

You asked about German garden tractors. Here's a good link one of my associates recommended:

Hey Bud, is it "only" a coincidence that the World Series is over, the victory parade was held, and now Mike's coming home? :wh:

Buzz, That is a coincidence!

I wonder if he "Managed" to make it to second base?

I'am sure Mike will clue us in when he gets back!
