whfan74 2,015 #5 Posted September 29, 2010 Broken plastic fenders. Pretty beat up. I am thinking $250.00. Pretty common problem with those era of tractors. Many, my family included replaced the plastic fenders with a steel fender pan from a 3, 4, or 500 series tractor. Site unseen...........$250 seems fair. Ken B 3,116 #6 Posted September 29, 2010 I like the look of both the metal and the plastic tub on a C-175. If the tub isn't totally destroyed you can easily fix it. You got the skills.
Iggy68 28 #7 Posted September 29, 2010 Stopped and looked at it. Left side fender is completely broke off. It won't go into 3rd gear either range. Starts right up and runs good. I will post some pics tonight. How had are those fender pans to find? The guy was asking 500 and came down to 400 without me offering anything.
Kelly 1,028 #8 Posted September 29, 2010 Good plastic fenders are not easy to find, and last ones I seen sell on ebay went over $100, but the metal pans are easy, and much cheaper, from free to about $30 for nice ones, you can use all the way back to the 78 C series fenders as long as it is the style with the tank under the seat, I have pictures of them mounted if you want to see how they look. rjr 0 #9 Posted September 29, 2010 $400.00 seems like a fair price for the motor if it has decent compression. The rest is free
