boovuc 1,090 #1 Posted September 16, 2010 I need to switch the brake/clutch pedals and shaft(s) on my 856 with another set off another tractor. This includes the pulley for the mower disengage. (Right hand side). I'm quite sure it will involve swearing and a loss of blood on my part from tractors that are 43 years old. My one pedal has a chunk off of it and it does not hold meaning it doesn't lock in place against the spring tension to disengage the mower from the belt drive. Short explanation and any tips would be real handy! Thanks, BooVuc Mill Hall, PA
TT-(Moderator) 1,129 #2 Posted September 16, 2010 any tips would be real handy! A 25 minute road trip with it will answer all of your questions. By the way........ "shaft(s)"? If you mean the 3/4" piece of round stock where the footrests mount, you're going to need a welder.
